November 18, 2011 November Tournament of Champions Anyone who wins a tournament during the month of November is invited to a Monthly Final Tournament on Wednesday, December 7th at 7:00 at PJ's. The winner will receive entry into the Yearly Finals and the chance to compete for entry into the 2012 WSOP Main Event!
This tournament is an even-stack tournament. Everyone will play with their initial 10k stack and blinds will be much slower.
Win any tournament in December and play for the same thing in January!

September 28, 2011 New/Changed Venues Sundays - No more Fanatics tournaments. Sunday afternoon tournament at BootZ Saloon in Oak Creek at 3:00. $6 pitchers, $4 bloodys, $3 Bacardi bombs. New 7:00 tournament for former Fanatics players at Drunken Dunk right across from Danny's Lounge! Great Sunday drink specials! Starting the 16th of October.
Mondays - South Milwaukee players have a second night of the week again. Johnny Mo's is playing Monday nights at 7:00 as well as their usual Saturday tournament.
Tuesdays - Long Wong's has closed. Half Time in Mukwonago is now playing a second weekly tournament on Tuesday. Playoffs on 82nd & Layton started a few weeks ago. Steve's on Bluemound just started a second nightly tournament on Tuesdays.
Wednesdays - Fiddler's in West Allis (right near Danny's Lounge) at 9:30. A new Badger Poker After Dark Venue!
Fridays - Mustang Shelly's in New Berlin at 7:00. Fish fry and other great food! South side players can also play at Rick's new bar in Cudahy, the Pour House starting the 14th or October. $5 gets a shot & a beer for poker players.
Saturdays - Dobber's (Lannon House) in Lannon at 7:00. Now players to the west and north have a place to play Saturday evenings! Awesome pizza!!!

The winner will receive entry into the Yearly Finals and the chance to compete for entry into the 2012 WSOP Main Event!

September 24, 2011 Super Saturday All of you players who have been collecting Super event credits will have a chance to redeem them for bonus chips at Super Saturday on October 22nd at 1:00 at Danny's Lounge.
This event is sort of a cross between the old Super events and the most recent one. There is no raffle and no raffle chips, but Super credit may be redeemed for bonus chips. All other usual chip incentives are in play, as well. Top prize is winner's choice of either a 46" LCD or 50" plasma.

September 22, 2011 Special Tourneys! We haven't done any poker variation tourneys in a while. Same old texas hold em. Let's mix it up with some Omaha and a Knock Out Tourney!
Rooters will host an Omaha High Tourney (Pot Limit) on October 4th. A week later on the 11th, we will mix it up and play Omaha Hi/Lo (Pot Limit). Omaha fans, don't miss it!
A certain birthday boy has been requesting a knock-out tourney for some time now. So we will help him celebrate at Coach House on the 5th with a knock-out tournament. 2 bonus points will be awarded for each person you knock out at this event. Whoever gets the most knock-outs will win a bonus prize (exact prize to be decided).
Finally, October 18th will be a heads-up tournament at Rooters. Only the first 16 entries will be accepted for this event. The first 16 preregistered are guaranteed entry. Preregistered players who do not show up by 7:00 will lose their guaranteed spot and will be replaced by players on a waiting list in the order that their name appears on the list. A regular tournament will go on simultaneously and as players are eliminated from heads-up they may join the regular tournament.

September 20, 2011 Badger Poker Satellites Badger Poker is welcoming the first of many satellite tournament venues, Sullivan Saloon! If you know anybody out in that area, let them know that it is the place to play freeroll poker on Tuesdays there and win entry to Badger Poker's 2012 Yearly Final!
If you know of any venues outside of the usual Greater Milwaukee Area that would make good satellite tournaments, please get us in contact with them! If they join the league, there's a $50 gas card with your name on it. If we get enough of these satellite tournament venues, we can even introduce a twice yearly $10k Final Tournament!

August 28, 2011 Super Saturday - NO RAFFLE CHIPS! Badger Poker is teaming up with PJ's on Saturday, September 17 at 5:00 to offer players a unique new type of Super Tournament. The prize pool will increase with the size of the field. $50 for every 10 players in the tournament. $250 if 50 play. $500 if 100 play. Sky's the limit! No raffle chips in this one. Only way to get extra starting chips is through the bar.

August 14, 2011 Facebook Tourney The Facebook Tourney is Sunday, August 21 at 1:00 at Danny's Lounge and is open to all of Badger Poker's facebook friends! If you haven't "liked" Badger Poker's facebook page do it now! And suggest it to your friends, too! Anyone who has done so may play this Sunday for a 50" plasma. This tournament is free to play and even stacked!
