Catch up on what's happening at Badger Poker Tournaments-Milwaukee.

I'm trying to drum up a little extra business for the casino night end of the business and I'm asking my regular players to help out. If the company you work for or some other company you know of or some individual or whomever is looking for a cool and unique party idea, tell them about Badger Poker's casino nights. We bring in all the tables and the dealers and it is a lot of fun and not that expensive.

If they mention that you referred them, I will give you a $50 gas card in thanks.

Super Saturday (Nintendo "Wiikend")

This Saturday (the 15th) will be a big event at Master Z's Cue Club in Waukesha (formerly Sharkey's). The theme will be Nintendo Wii. These make great gifts with Christmas coming up as they are very hard to find in stores. I will be giving 2 away on Saturday! Other prizes will include a car navigation system and 2 iPod Shuffles. There will be a Nintendo Wii available to play during breaks and other down time on the projection screen as well. The blind structure will be more player friendly and the tourney will start at 2:00. Plasma TV at Super Tuesday Nov 11!!!

Big event on Tuesday! Top prize is another 42" plasma TV. Second prize is an Xbox 360. Third prize is an iPod Shuffle. There will also be a drawing for a Badger Poker Casino Night Party at a location of your choosing. Whoever wins this will have Badger Poker bring their choice of Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, and Poker Tables and real live dealers to their own party. This is nearly a $500 value minimum. We will also have an XS energy drink taste testing for those that attend as well as examples of the casino equipment for players to sample during their down time. This night promises to be great fun! November Events & Taste Testing

Time to mark your calendars people! I have a few big events with big prizes for everyone to look forward to and here they are.

Tuesday, November 11, 7:00 at Long Wongs: Super Tuesday. We will be having another taste testing! This time we will experience XS Energy Drink. So if you are feeling tired that night just try your favorite flavor of XS and I bet the cards will be flying all night! Prizes include a 42" Plasma TV, Xbox 360, gas card, bar tabs, a guaranteed spot in the finals, and a voucher for a free Badger Poker casino night at a location of your choosing for you and your friends! Samples of the casino equipment will be present for you to sample the action. Top 40 receive points.

Saturday, November 15, 2:00 at Master Z's: Nintendo "Wiikend." Prizes include at least one Nintendo Wii and more yet to be decided. A Nintendo Wii will be set up on the projector screen for people to sample video games during breaks and when they go out. Blinds will start lower than usual and increase slower than usual in the same style as the finals. Top 30 receive points.

Sunday, November 23, 5:00 at Kelly's Bleachers: Super Sunday. Prizes yet to be determined, but you can assume they will be great! Top 40 receive points.

I will also try to hold an Omaha night as well during November. More on this later!

No Bada Bing Tournament Today

Bada Bing is closed to the general public today for an anniversary party so we will be taking the night off from poker. Back to normal next week, though.

No More Senor Luna

Just so everyone knows, Badger Poker will no longer be playing late night tournaments at Senor Luna on Thursdays. Hopefully, I will still see you all at Bada Bing as usual!

Halloween is coming!

Hey all. Anyone who comes to Poker Halloween weekend (Friday and Saturday) wearing a costume will receive an extra $2000 in chips to begin with. I'm also giving away a cool prize for best dressed each night in addition to some neat little extra giveaways. Poker will start and end at the normal times those days and you can definitely stick around to enjoy the bar's festivities. Plus, you get to see what clever costume I come up with.

Rooters Starting at 7PM

Just a reminder that the tournament at Rooters (AMF Bowl Waukesha) will be starting at 7:00 on Tuesdays from now on. This is a great opportunity for Waukesha members to play another tournament plus they have great drink specials including half-price Crown mixers! Long Wong's will play as normal.

Rules Update

Due to popular demand, starting Sunday, the 18th we will be revamping the rules a bit. That day the following will go into effect.
1. No latecomers past the first blind increase(20 minutes). Please know the starting times. With very few exceptions they do not change. If you think you may be late due to staying late at the job, bad traffic, bad parking, leaving late, etc simply contact me via phone, texting, or e-mail and I will place a bag for you so that you will have a spot for sure and will simply be blinded out until your arrival.
2. Second chance will begin promptly an hour and a half after the main tournament begins. Anyone who has already gone out or any late comers are welcome to join during the first half hour of second chance. After that time period the tournament is closed.
3. In order to encourage people to sign up online a new iPod giveaway will begin. Sign up online, show up, and rank in the top 3 that night and your name will be entered in the drawing for the chance to win an iPod at the end of the session.

Badger Poker reserves the right to modify these rules at any time, yada yada yada, blah, blah, blah.

Hey for those of you that read this far, get your costumes out. Halloween's almost here! We'll have some special giveaways during Halloween weekend and a best costume contest, so be creative. See ya then!

Super Tuesday Results

Congrats to Matt M who got to take home the plasma TV last night. Honorable mentions to George L, Jen B, Terrell B, and DBG.

Thanks to everyone who helped make this event a success. We were swamped with over 170 people and had to bring in extra chairs and makeshift tables. The night was a lot of fun with only a couple minor glitches. Feel free to share your input with me on the forum.
